Not Your Every Day Entertainer

Written by Sandra Gillian

Danny Kazam is different from your everyday entertainer. He's a full-time children and family entertainer, magician, puppeteer, magic creator, even a song writer, and his journey to success is a genuine testament to the power of pursuing dreams. Danny's love for performing ignited at a young age, fueled by his boundless imagination and a passion for make-believe that often led him into mischievous adventures. (Nice way of saying, "trouble") However, Danny's path to becoming a professional entertainer took an unexpected twist. It wasn't until he reached the age of 42 that he fully embraced his lifelong dream. Drawing from his life experiences, recognizing his strengths and weaknesses, and following his most profound joy, Danny focused exclusively on becoming a children's entertainer.

When Danny and his family relocated from Alberta to Saskatchewan, he faced a challenge. There were no magic clubs or community of fellow magicians to connect with and share his passion. Ever the innovator, Danny took matters into his own hands. He contacted local magicians, forming the Saskatchewan Magicians group, which grew to over 20 members. Additionally, he revived the dormant International Brotherhood of Magicians Regina Ring 309, serving as its President during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. With sheer determination and unwavering commitment, Danny pioneered a thriving library market across the province. Collaborating with grants and libraries throughout Saskatchewan, he offered captivating magic shows, engaging workshops, and unforgettable Young Wizards day camps. He became the first to offer magic workshops and classes, sharing his expertise with eager learners. It was a groundbreaking initiative that set him apart. As his popularity grew, others took notice. Another local magician, inspired by Danny's success, decided to follow in his footsteps and offer similar services. This is a testament to Danny's impact, creating a path that others now strive to emulate. His hard work and dedication in building the foundation for magic workshops and classes have opened doors for fellow entertainers. As a result of his groundbreaking efforts, Danny Kazam became the go-to entertainer for children and families across the province. His enchanting performances reached more towns and cities than any other entertainer, with nearly 200 shows annually, spreading joy and wonder to countless communities. Danny's talents have not gone unnoticed. He has been prominently featured in events like ReginaCadabra and had the honor of opening for renowned celebrities like Eric Leclerc. Not only has he sold out theaters with his captivating performances, but he has also raised over $60,000 for various charitable causes, using his talents to positively impact his community. In addition to his captivating performances, Danny Kazam goes above and beyond to positively impact children's lives. With a deep understanding of his influence as an entertainer, Danny incorporates essential life lessons and delivers positive messages through his shows.

Danny can weave valuable life lessons through his magical performances that resonate with young audiences. Whether teaching the importance of kindness, and perseverance or embracing one's uniqueness, Danny uses his platform to inspire children to be their best selves. His shows are not just about entertainment; they also serve as a vehicle for instilling values and empowering young minds. Despite his success, Danny Kazam remains grounded and humble. He isn't driven by fame and focuses solely on satisfying his audience and creating lasting memories. His dedication to his craft has earned him the title of Saskatchewan's most popular kid's entertainer. Supported by the fact that he performs more shows in more locations each year, his loyal fanbase and repeat business is a testament to his hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to delivering unforgettable performances.
